They should pay people to see it

Superficial and subjective overwiew of the most famous champagne brands. Very little history or technical info. Intro to English sparkling wine. This was a long and boring advertisement for French Champagne and English sparkling wines. Serious movie theater should be ashamed to sell tickets. Instead they should pay people to see this movie.

Very disappointing

I found this movie very disappointing. It was not at all what I was expecting or hoping to see. There was very little on the history of champagne, the making of it and the differences between types of champagne such as brut, rose and vintage. And they went very heavily into English sparkling wine and the debate over who really invented champagne... Dom Perignon or the English. It was really just silly and felt like a long boring infomercial trying to sell me on how English sparkling wine is better than French champagne. It didn't win me over. There is and will never be anything compared to champagne.

Exceptional film if you love Champagne. Really interesting to learn about the different Champagne houses and the stories behind their brands. Wonderful interviews. Highly recommend.
