I really should do what Michael Elliott does and review five Edison movies in one go because writing a ten line review about a film that lasts approximately one minute is damn near impossible unless you start waffling and wandering off topic.
Anyway, this short from Edison is nothing to write home about. It's shot from quite a distance so there isn't that much detail to make out. The shot composition is fairly good though, and there's plenty going on even if it isn't too clear. I can't help thinking that Edison's cameramen were really just going through the motions and using a minimum amount of imagination when capturing their shots.
