The dead bull rider's information on his check stub found in his truck contains an error. It shows the zip code for Elk City, OK as 93644 - the zip code for Oakhurst, CA. 73644 would be correct for Elk City.
The suspect's Dodge pickup is said to have a Texas plate with 7 digits starting with the letter "C". Before 2009, all Texas license plates had six digits, and when they introduced 7 digit plates, truck license plates started with "AA".
