A short yet somehow long film balanced some way above kitchen sink drama. The viewer is thrilled by the sheer audacity of the writers and performers who pour their heart and soul into this exquisite short piece of improv art.
This will change you forever. Hopefully for the better.

Surrealist, modern, ahead of its time
colinmcplanc20 February 2020
Cupboard is a film unlike any other; in one sense, it captures a borderline avant-garde surrealist edge that oft typifies the millennial filmmakers (a lot of whom dabbled first with editing with Vine, the influence of which is clear here) and yet also captures a particularly British sense of peculiarity to the extent that one could visual this piece as something Vic and Bob or Monty Python or the Comic Strip would make if their time in the comedy spotlight were renewed.
I feel this film set out to be absurdist, and it is very deliberate in doing so.
