A brilliant stand-up showcase, with Gamble discussing his father's pet-keeping, the difficulties of living with diabetes, and best of all his views on sponsoring a guide dog. A few overlaps with his work on TV (particularly Mock the Week) but plenty of fresh content.
Ed Gamble is brilliant!! This had me laughing out loud so many times and is really rewatchable!! In my opinion it gets better as it goes along because the stuff about the sponsored dog and his dads cat is hilarious!! My only criticism is the farting at the massage jokes go on a little bit too long π
Well, I decided to take a shot at a comedy special from someone I haven't heard, and it's... okay-ish.
His material isn't exactly hilarious, and he substitutes jokes with yelling, kinda like Rogan, but it feels like he has lots of potential.
Hope he gets to do a better special, this one is apparently his first, so for a first - it's fair.
