Team Charlie investigates the suspicious death behind the wheel of the chief programmer of a female start-up aiming to develop a self-driving car. While even Jesse finds handling the robotic dog challenging, which Rex easily gets under his paw, Charlie tails vehicles and finds out about multiple conflicts and deceit, from ambition and strategy to the manipulated cover-up for an earlier accident which landed a man in a wheelchair.
