Look at the episode date

If you saw this episode before the summer of 2020, then you need to watch it again. If you've seen it since summer, then look at the air date. This episode is scarily prescient. It is about as real to current events as you can get.

Chicago PD is not for the faint of heart and this episode certainly fits right in. The quality is excellent. There is a definite message.

LaRoyce Hawkins

This guy sets my pulses racing, and saying he's not a strong enough actor to carry a heavy storyline is just rubbish. I think he is just superb and lights up every scene he's in.

Spoiled by Poor Acting

The major focus in this episode was office Atwater as portrayed by LaRoyce Hawkins. Unfortunately, LaRoyce is not a strong enough actor to carry it, his facial expressions are blank and he constantly uses a stary eyed expression to convey his emotions and that look is the same for every emotion. During the 7 series, most of the cast have developed in their roles and the acting has got better for several of the ensemble cast but sadly LaRoyce is lagging behind and looks a little exposed in an otherwise strong cast.

Poor acting

Poor acting

Atwater displayed wide-eyed, head shaking, unconvincing attempts at appearing thoughtful and emotional.

It is so bad that it seems like a parody of a character.
