Very much hyped by Netflix this Film as Happy Maddison star man Adam Sandler takes on another more serious role with an underbelly of Happy Gilmore that just seems to linger in every roll this man does.
Thing is sometimes typecasting works and although Sandler does an average job he is still The Wedding Singer and I struggle always to see him as a serious roll actor, but that's me.
The Film itself is way over blown, nothing like the real Howard Ratners life. So really would have been best suited if it was a fictional character in the first place.
Like my headline for any Brits who can recall shopping in the 80s and early 90s Ironically it turned out to be a little Gerald Ratner, Crap in places but overall 7 maybe contridictry in terms but 6 would be mean.
As a side when I 1st heard Netflix had a flim about jewellery and Ratner I did think it was going to be the millionaire to bust Gerald, now that might make good viewing
