... which was Buster's home from 1926-1932, and the original owner for whom it was built. Since Buster's personal and professional life disintegrating had to do with him losing it, that subject is discussed. Also discussed was the rediscovering of Keaton's films towards the end of his life when several previously considered lost films of Keaton's were discovered in Buster's old film editting room which had become a gardening shed, the discovery being made by James Mason who owned the Italian Villa at the time. This documentary is in no way about the making of the film "Parlor, Bedroom, and Bath" other than to mention that the film's exteriors were shot at the Italian Villa. Also some of the more famous owners of the Villa through the years are mentioned , along with the restoration done of the home in the year 2000.
This minidocumentary is on the DVD set entitled "Industrial Strength Keaton", which contains many obscure shorts about and starring Buster Keaton. It is probably for the Keaton completist only.
