Full of passion and emotion.

This definitely shows the dedication that a fighter has when he inherits it from his own dad this film shows that passion and dedication. Great job I know I will be seeing these characters on screen more often.

A bold debut film
topboytim17 May 2022
Following the career of actor Louis Findlay over the year has been fascinating to see his performances have been stern and memorable. This debut film is a testament to having the courage and confidence to create your own work and the emotive, powerful and narrative were done so well in this film. Great first film from Louis. It's fab to see how far he's come from his earlier days working with a lot of the pros in the industry.

Low budget, but lots of heart

It is not the most technically polished work or got lots of production quality, but you can tell everyone on this film worked hard to get get this backyard indie made and the overall result is very fun.

a fantastic film touching on boxing and family life.
jamescartists14 September 2021
Full credit to the team behind the film, on first viewing it looks like a docudrama it is only as you progress you realize that this is a work of fiction, the acting is superbly naturalistic with a clever documentary style of shoot that is on a par with many mainstream real life programs.

The flow of the story is excellent, with a mix of family drama sitting comfortably beside boxing gym scenes. Cleverly structured it is a film I will come back to and reccomend to anyone looking for a boxing story or a structurally well styled drama with a working class edge.

Cracking movie full of guts and passion
carolineoakes110 April 2022
Really great movie with the cast being superb and the whole feel of it being gritty and atmospheric. Full of how a Boxer lives his life from day to day under the shadow of his Dad. Brilliant performances by the whole cast but most importantly a mention for the young boxer who is going through living up to what went before Louis Finlay.

Definitely check it out.
