stupid story with not that much to offer

From The Shadows is also available as Naked Fear 3. By now we all know that Naked Fear 2 was as boring as hell and I was a bit afraid to watch part 3. It was better then part 2 but still it's difficult to watch.

the story is all about a lottery ticket that has won the big price. But a serial killer wants that ticket and abduct the girl. she has to tell him where the ticket is. She doesn't so the torturing starts. But hey, if this is a horror where is the blood and torturing? It's all so low on red stuff and to make it a bit ridiculous they entered ghost. The abducted girl do get some medicines to hallucinate but towards the end the ghosts do appear in the real world. There's some slashing going on, sadly, it's off-camera and for a title concerning naked, well, there's none.

It's watchable and it do has here and there a good moment but overall it lacks suspense and horror. Better than part 2 but way below part 1. What also tears it down is the bad sound.

From The Shadows

A young woman wins a fortune on the lottery; next thing she knows she is being held captive out in the wilds by a man who can only be described as totally ruthless. He wants the ticket, but there is more to him and more to her captivity. She is raped, brutalised, and injected with drugs that make her hallucinate. But are the mysterious entities she sees in this derelict building purely the product of the drugs acting on her mind? This is where it gets silly, because just prior to her escape, her captor sees them too. Also, what of her love interest, the guy who'd come into her life with a bang, he is certainly an enigmatic individual, but is he part of the plot too, or another victim?

This had the makings of a half-decent film, gratuitous damsel torture aside, but it tries too hard, and although there is a resolution, the biggest question is not answered. Also, there are numerous flashbacks, which coupled with the nightmare scenes are confusing if not outright annoying.
