Fogg, Passepartout and Fix arrive in Hong Kong.

Kneedling has spun a story at the bank that Fogg is a fugitive and therefore no money has arrived for him.

With no money, it is left to Passepartout to find accomodation and sort out the finances.

It turns out that Passepartout had been to Hong Kong before as a sailor, he is also a master thief.

Fogg has become a celebrity thanks to Fix's article in the newspaper. They are invited to a party in Fogg's honour given by the Governor of Hong Kong.

Passepartout is ordered by a local gangster to steal a valuable jewel and Fogg finds himself to blame and is ordered to be flogged.

It is enjoyable in a campy way. Fogg does not realise until later on that Fix has written about his personal life.

Passepartout is somehow the only man in Hong Kong who could steal the necklace.

However the series seems to be coming together and I did wince when the whipping statrted.

Could Fix Ruin Fogg?

As they are in Hong Kong due to not having money arrived for him. As we find out Fix wrote an article about Fogg personal life and that she wanted to tell him when there was a time and a place.

Passepartout has a lot of jobs before being a waiter and a valet but also he is a sailor or was and a master thief there. In addition to speaking different languages.

He is forced to steal a valuable jewel there without not waking up the owners there. But now it seems Passepartout after being ridicule over in his race and being mistreated, finally found a country that could treat him write technically.

Question is, will they get the funds in order to go from Hong Kong to their next destination? Only time will tell.

Good Adventure

Fogg and his entourage find themselves in Hong Kong, thinking this will be one place where there are no impediments. But that hired killer is poisoning things along the way. Also, Fogg has been betrayed by his lady Journalist who has exposed a deep secret to the public. A common theme in this series is that one can't used one's titles when it comes to unfamiliar cultures. I now must wait for a week by week presentation of the remainder of the first season.

Oh Dear

Just stumbling from one awful plotline to another. The Governor's wife knows of Fogg´s journey but nobody in the bank does. It just gets more tedious. I´m struggling to finish the journey with the tiresome trio. I hope you have better luck.
