So sick of seeing madison keeps surviving
freshtomatoreviews7 September 2021
Madison doesn't deserve to live after what she did to dylan. The whole Nick situation is brought on HERSELF! She keeps blaming Nick as if she wasn't the one who WILLINGLY cheated on Dylan and replaced him just like that, and when things go south she's all like "oh no! My new bf who was my affair person is a psycho!! Oh poor me!!!"

And in EVERY instalation she just keeps having some magical superheroes SWOOP IN to rescue her in the nick of time! Ugh what a princess!!!

I wished the ending took a dark turn and have her dead or stuck in the psychiatric ward, honestly all Bethany needed to do was just stab her!

Madison DOESN'T deserve a happy ending!

Still hate Madison!

Warning: Spoilers
I still don't like Madison for what she did to Dillon. And I agree with one contributor who said she deserved to be locked up in the psyche ward! The poor guy who loved her and was concerned for her but she being dumb and stupid fell for psycho Blake, and the rest is history in parts 1 and 2 of this trilogy! I have to say this though, when I looked up Lexi Ainsworth on IMdb I came across her movie A Girl Like Her (2015). I thought she was absolutely superb in that and the movie was superb. I won't say any more about the movie so as not to give it away. But I highly recommend it to anyone who reads this to watch it!

Ps absolutely nothing like Unsane which incidentally was made entirely with an iPhone 7.

"Attack of the Killer Tomato"

This film will have you muttering oaths of revenge in your car.

I have a serious question for the cast and crew of this film. DO THEY NOT HAVE ACTING SCHOOLS IN CANADA? God, you guys are worse actors than three-year-olds lying about stealing candy.

Here is one mistake they all make and it's hard to watch a complete movie knowing they don't have the skill to pull this off. They all, without exception, put the volume to 10 on their emotions, so that every emotion is expressed to the utmost, like they're experiencing chocolate for the first time. No subtlety at all. No character at all, they could all be playing the same person.

The next mistake is the writing. It's bad. It's very cliche and does something you should never see in a film - it talks too much. Instead it should show. The bad girl TELLS you what she is going to do, TELLS you she's angry, TELLS you why she's motivated to do what she is doing when NO ONE IS THERE!!!. I'm betting the scripts had so much dialogue it was written into the margins. LESS is better. SHOW the character DOING things and leave it at that. TRUST that the audience is WATCHING and don't explain it to them like they are idiots. Too much of this is ON THE NOSE, and if you don't understand that statement you shouldn't be in the business. The fact that it is so means the director is also incompetent, the production staff, the script writer, the actors, none of them spotted it and put up their hands.

The filmography reflects very cheap production values with close shots everywhere, so that you can't tell we're a thousand miles from Philadelphia - a sure sign this film never ran in theaters. It is possible to make a movie cheaply, but couple it with bad acting and a poorly executed story, that's a formula for Canadian gov't subsidized rubbish.

Canada, can you please subsidize acting schools and writing classes for these people as well as their salaries - thanks.

Better than first one

I liked the first one and watched this with low expectations because I didn't expect much from a crazed institutionalized sibling. I was wrong. Lisa was brilliant, cunning, and much much smarter than her pining, lovesick brother. A great LFM movie. The sister infiltrates Amanda's life by befriending her and has to bite her tongue while Amanda bad mouths her brother at every turn. This was a great cat and mouse theme. Very well executed. (Have not seen the 2nd one yet)

A nice end to a roller coaster ride for Madison!
Chartreuse113 July 2020
Lisa, Blake's sister, discovers her brother's death and swears revenge on Madison. She tracks her and gets into a trauma support group at her workplace to get close to her and becomes a confidante. Lisa then puts her plot into full motion and once again Madison is victimized. How will it end??? Tune in to find out. An enjoyable finale but a few plot holes.....

Watch it for Anastasia Phillip's performance as the sister......
mja587 April 2021
I think this is the best installment of the "Obsession" trilogy. Ms. Phillip's performance as Blake's DEMENTED sister is great - you really think she's out of her mind.

A lot of bad things happen to Madison, and her sister for most of the movie is not seen. However, the ending is satisfying and (at least I thought) a bit poignant.

Have a drink and watch the movie!!!

similar to Unsane (2018)

I am amazed by funny and realistic part of this Lifetime movie. I found most things to be authentic about psychiatric part, and reminds me of personal experience. Also characters behave and look appropriate for their roles, almost perfect. Lots of funny and weird mysterious things from insane and criminal aspects of life. Reminds me of personal experience with such things and of similar movies like Unsane (2018). Creative, interesting, could be easily associated with real life matters, and the best of 3 sequels. Especially good acting of that main evil girl character, where she naturally looks and behaves like real trouble.
