This is how you tell relevant stories
sophia556 February 2020
Easily the best episode of the series so far, "One Drum" is an incredibly relevant, necessary, and emotional story. This episode puts Indigenous voices at the forefront, something unfortunately uncommon in mainstream media. Tamara Podemski, usually relegated to comic relief or one-two minute exposition scenes, gives an absolutely incredible performance. Let's hope that Coroner continues to give voices to the underrepresented!

Great writing and message

I believe music, movies, tv shows, etc. Are so much more than just entertaining. It was a great episode showing how bad and cruel our society is towards Natives and POC.

Too much political BS

This episode could've been good but it's horribly overshadowed by political crap.

Not sure if it's the horrible script or horrible acting
banananatime9 June 2022
I appreciate the message SO much. But the way this was executed and delivered was horrible. In particular, Alison inappropriately forcing a kid to spend the day with her (when she OFTEN complains about babysitting) to prove a point that they were destined to meet or something, and her awkward acting of why she took the job despite not having really any impact on anything, then accusing Jenny of thinking she's ridiculous. It was just too much.
