A vaccine is a prophylactic, not a cure, for a viral infection. The vaccine recovered from the Russians would not have helped any of the agents or citizens infected with the virus.
They use MRSA as a cover story for the spread of the virus, but then refer to it as a virus. MRSA is Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus; a bacteria, not a virus.
The medical personnel and others that are knowingly interacting with individuals believed to be infected are following no safety protocol whatsoever. The hospital staff are now even masked up. Even though this episode was well before COVID, first responders and hospital staff are trained in how to respond to presumptive viral outbreak.
