- As election day approaches for Paul, secrets start to catch up with Ginny and Georgia, and the fallout for both could be steep.
- Despite Georgia and Paul's engagement, things are very tense for the Millers: Austin keeps on missing school and wandering off, while Ginny finds herself cut off from her friends group. With the election approaching, Cynthia publicly accuses Georgia of embezzling money, but HR concludes that there's no money missing: however, Nick notices that there was a huge deposit done that morning for the same amount that was missing. After being once again singled out by her English teacher, Ginny runs into Bracia in the bathroom and the two talk about how difficult it can be to be Black in an all-white town. Hunter tells Ginny he doesn't want to break up and that he loves her; Joe notices Ginny's Ray-bans and she tells him Georgia received them from a stranger in a gas station, Joe reads this as a sign and is ready to declare his feelings to Georgia, but she comes in and he finds out about her engagement to Paul. Ginny goes to Max's musical to talk to her, but Max reveals she knows about her and Marcus and confronts her on lying, Ginny accuses Abby of telling Max and Max gets angry with Abby too. Hunter intervenes in the fight and Abby tells him how Ginny cheated on him with Marcus, who arrives in that moment and says it was all a mistake, before getting punched by Hunter. Ginny is heartbroken by Marcus' words and she leaves him. Max tells Ellen about Ginny and Marcus and Ellen confronts Georgia about it. Georgia talks to Ginny and Ginny spits it all out, accusing Georgia of lying and driving Zion away, of Austin's letters and reveals she mailed them, much to Georgia's disbelief. Ginny blackmails her English teacher into signing a recommendation letter for her, accusing him of being racist, while Georgia finds out Austin has been skipping school. Cut out from her friends, Ginny spends time with Bracia; at work, she receives a visit from Gabriel, who reveals he's investigating Georgia and asks Ginny to come forward with information, fearing Georgia may be dangerous, but Ginny protects her mother. Ginny comes home to Georgia leaving for the announcement of the new mayor and Ginny decides to run away: she and Austin burn the wolfsbane and then steal Marcus' bike and run off, just as Paul wins the elections and Georgia reveals to Gabriel that she put Kenny's ashes in the fireworks.
