Plot Summary

An anthology of internationally-acclaimed short films by Mart Sander in a collection of uncanny tales of the past and future, of love and fear, of this world and the Beyond. A large number of top Estonian actors participate in this playful, thought-provoking fantasy film. The Demonic Narrator tells us four fairy tales for grown-ups. In the first story, ACTUALLY, the paths of three people who seem to share both the past and the present intersect in a lonely wayside hotel. In the second story, THE SPRING OF SOLITUDE, village boy Hans falls in love with the mysterious maiden he meets at the sacred spring and decides to free her from an ancient curse. ABEYANCE is a story about two investigators trying to solve the secrets of a World War II Nazi research center. THE BUTLER DID IT is an Agatha Christie-esque murder mystery spiced with black humor, where the butler must expose the murderer(s) over a dinner party. The film is perfect for anyone who loves magical realism and enjoys solving puzzles. Written by FilMinistry
