- A pregnant Sara and Hayden drop into the Block. $20,000 is up for grabs tonight in what is possibly the most controversial judgment the Block has ever seen.
- The fifteenth season of Australian reality television series The Block premiered on August 4, 2019. Hosts Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, site foreman Keith Schleiger with Dan Reilly, and judges Neil Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer, all returned from the previous season. This year contestants are renovating a rundown backpackers accommodation, Oslo Hotel, in St Kilda, Victoria.
- It's been a big week on The Block with the All Star injection but there are some big storms brewing - and we're not talking about the weather. Well, a real storm has hit the Oslo and the teams are scrambling to find buckets and the cause of their new water features, which have sprung up the day before Room Reveal. Keith, Dan and their team are faced with getting the roof sorted before the next downpour hits, and surprisingly the teams aren't too busy to play a big prank on some familiar faces. Last year's The Block winners, Hayden and Sara, pop by for a tour of the site and the teams feel like it's the perfect time for a stitch up. A bit shook up after seeing so many Blockheads in one place, Mark and Lysandra explain this year there are 10 couples on The Block. Mark says they've been working together to try and mesh their styles, but the joke gets bigger when they head on down to House 4. "Have you heard what the prize is?" Ronnie, who has been paired with El'ise and Matt, says. "One of these," he adds, motioning to the house. In between the stitch-ups and rain, Jesse is struggling to get Forty Winks to resize his bedhead in under 20 hours, but shockingly he manages to get it done. Meanwhile, El'ise and Matt are trying to get their plans for a pool sorted but Dave Franklin has told them their cash situation isn't looking good. The Western Australian parents take out their financial frustrations on each other - she's not taking no for an answer while he's keen to pull the pin. It's tense between them. But El'ise's weekend goes from bad to worse when they get to Block HQ and she spots Andy and Deb's bonus point Gnome, perched on a pedestal looking at the teams. Host Scott Cam is keen to get straight into judging but an uneasy El'ise butts in to address the Gnome in the room. "Can ask a little question?" she begins, which means the question will be anything but little. "Obviously the infamous Gnome is in play tonight. We did a challenge with our All Star contestants this week, and technically in my mind a challenge means no Gnome included. So, I would like to know, is this a challenge still or is this an actual reveal night?" she questions. Tess admits she would use it if it was hers, and Deb, the owner of said Gnome, insists they're going to use it. El'ise is fuming - with $20,000 on the line that little bonus point could make or break a team and she's not impressed that it can be used in a week that is half-Room Reveal, half-challenge. "The rules of the game are that Andy and Deb can use the bonus point tonight," Scott tells her. The teams cop it on the chin and agree but El'ise isn't backing down, and suggests Andy and Deb can maybe just use half a point this week. Scotty, like a parent cementing their authority, tells her rules are rules and he won't be changing them. As El'ise huffs and puffs about the Gnome, judging kicks off and everything seems to be going along well. She cheers up too when the judges give feedback for her creative 'AM and PM' wardrobe. The judges are impressed with El'ise and Matt's alternative master bedroom.
