Plot Summary

Blue and Malone - Impossible Cases tells the story of Berta (Aura Garrido), the same girl who starred in the first adventure, nominated at the Goya Awards in 2014, but twenty years later. Berta is now a journalist overwhelmed by responsibilities of adulthood who returns to the theater her grandmother used to take her as a child just the night before it's demolition. What she doesn't know, is that two detectives she's already forgotten about from her childhood, her imaginary friends Mortando Malone and Big Blue Cat, are going to help her solve an impossible case: regain her desire to dream again with a "deadultizer," a magical press button that many people would want to press to see the world again through the eyes of a child. Written and directed by Abraham López Guerrero and produced by ESDIP Animation Studio, El Viaje Imposible, Salon Indien Films and Wiseblue Studios, Blue and Malone. Impossible Cases is the only Spanish short film to use real images with 3D and 2D animation. Goya Award 2021 Best Animated Short Film. Written by Abraham López Guerrero
