Nearly every U.S. soldier in the film is armed with a Thompson sub-machine gun. Most would have been armed with M1 Garands instead.
The U.S. soldiers are using a K+W Panzer 61 tank from the 1960s. The U.S. never used this tank nor did it exist in World War II.
