Warning: Spoilers
The two Russians suspected of poisoning Sergei and Yulia Skripal are shown in this episode via the interview they gave to ITV news.

The third episode opens with the Russian President Putin getting ready for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The people of Salisbury think they are over the worse of the Novichok poisoning as several months have elapsed.

That is until Dawn Sturgess and her partner Charlie Rowley are taken hill. The nightmare returns.

Dawn Sturgess was the sole fatality and the final episode concentrates more on her family.

The final episode does take a frothy and soapy turn. Then again the Conservative government does not seemed to have taken a tough stance on Russia over the release of a nerve agent on British soil. It might be because of all the Russian Bots that helped out in the 2016 EU Referendum.

So the producers had to concentrate on the human tragedy. DS Nick Bailey was also struggling to come to terms with the effects of the poisoning.
