Made in association with The New York Film Academy.
Director David Harris has two cameos. The first is during the blind dating montage and he's seen across from a blond woman at a table. Second, Harris throws a soccer ball and runs to get it in the scene where Leslie is running through Central Park. Five other crew members perform cameo roles as well.
The film was originally to be a slap-stick of a girl running through Central Park to meet a date, but writer David Harris felt that the story lacked depth, and thus "Heart Attack" was conceived.
The statue seen in the park is Peter Stuyvesant, for whom the Stuyvesant Park is named after. He was a ruler who came to America in the 17th century to found New Finland.
The title was not chosen until post-production. Other title considerations included "Meant to Be", "When Push Comes to Love...", "Relationshit", and "NYC Love."
