June 21-22, 1969. Toronto. Johnny puts on Toronto Pop Festival 2 months before Woodstock with Steppenwolf and The Band. Tension builds with partner Ken Walker. Brower begins affair with 18 year old virgin assistant Maria.

July 27, 1969. Toronto. Johnny's solo Blind Faith concert loses big. An embarrassing loss as Brower's wife has an affair with Eric Clapton.

Johnny makes it to Woodstock on a moonshine road through the woods. Mushrooms prevail backstage and onstage. For the ride home Brower commandeers a National Guard helicopter.

September. A nervous Lennon performs solo for the first time. Alice Cooper does a chicken. The Doors play one of their last performances. Lennon reveals he's leaving The Beatles. "I've never felt so alive in me life."

Lennon tells the Beatles he's out, runs out of Apple Records yelling "It's Over", drives off with Yoko. News kept secret as manager renegotiates Beatles record deal. Paul and Linda decide to start recording.

November. Istanbul for sheepskin coats. JB straps hash to his body. In London, Johnny gifts Lennons a huge chunk. On Live Peace in Toronto album, Brower hears his name. Brower plans Peace Festival.

December. London. JB, Yorke meet John and Yoko. Brower offers War Is Over in Toronto and to announce Peace Festival. Brower sets up meeting with John Lennon and Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau.
Toronto. PM Trudeau meeting confirmed. John and Yoko flood Ronnie Hawkins home while taking a bath. Brower and bodyguards rough up reporters, causing chaos. Rolling Stone estimates 3M million people want to attend the Peace Festival.
