Honza (Krystof Hádek) is a young con man. With the help of his klutzy conspirator Jirka, they run petty real estate scams in Prague. When the police get too close, they decide to retreat to Honza's grandfathers winery. While waiting for things to cool down in the city, Honza devises a plan to sell his grandfather's winery. In Prague, he was living a day to day existence. He didn't shun his past but neglected it. With the help of pretty neighbor Klárka (Tereza Vorísková), he discovers rediscovers his heritage. At first his swindling ways are hard to stop, but the people, pretty Czech country side and the joy of wine making changes everything. The film starts off as a comedy, followed by a scenic but confused middle and finishes strong as a romantic drama.
