When the motorcycle refuses to start, the headlight is on. In the next shot where the cycle is shown, the light is off.

When Ben takes a picture of the German couple, the woman is holding one kind of champagne. And on the paper picture shown afterwards, the champagne is of another label.

Tim Horton's 'roll up the rim to win' contests happen in March and in November. Neither month's weather is represented in this movie.

The World's Largest Hockey Stick is shown somewhere in the Prairies, when in fact it resides in Duncan, BC on Vancouver Island.

Mile "0" of the TCH is not at a dock in Tofino, BC. It is in Victoria, BC at Beacon Hill Park.

When Ben arrives at the Ranchmen Motel, he still hasn't left Ontario, however the Ranchmen Motel is located in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

When the farmer is allegedly visiting her son in Fort McMurray, she is shown meeting a guy who is standing alongside his pickup truck. The location is not Fort Mac at all, but Tino's Drive-In, a historic and still operating vintage hamburger drive thru in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

We see Ben enter Saskatchewan from Manitoba and then go to Kipling which is a side trip south of the TCH. We next see his cycle dying on the side of the highway after making a side trip to see the desert Camel. The problem is the camel (Sarah) is in Glenboro, Manitoba. This would have been over a 320 km reverse trip for Ben to make. Unlikely he would have taken this 6-7 hour round trip detour when he could have easily driven south of the TCH on his way to SK.
