Plot Summary

English teacher Penelope Campbell loves her annual summer vacations visiting her Grandma Dot, despite Dot's constant attempts to set her up with every single man in town. This year, she bumps into Jason Humphrey, none other than her childhood sweetheart, who is still as handsome and charming as ever. It's a little awkward at first, but the conversation soon turns to Jason's own Grandma Josie, who keeps doing the same to him. In order to evade the efforts of their matchmaking grandmothers, they make a pact pretending to date each other, but will the old sparks return? Written by Reel One Entertainment

Trivia Whereas two of Pen's set-ups are introduced in the flesh (David the baker musician, and Greg the pharmacist poet), none of Jason's are shown. See more »
Goofs When Pen and Jason get inside the house after swimming in the lake with their clothes on, their clothes are fully dry and their hair is still in perfect shape like they didn't just get soaked from head to toe. It's clear that they just sprayed a bit of water on the ends of Pen's hair. See more »
Quotes Grandma Dot: You know, when you two were kids, your grandma and I used to think you were fated to be together. I mean, you were completely inseparable.
Pen Campbell: That was a very, very long time ago, Grandma.
Grandma Dot: Ah well, you know the old saying. "The only thing more powerful than time is love."
Pen Campbell: Who said that?
Grandma Dot: I did.
