- Terra Harvey: People always think that they can treat the big girl like shit because we're... we're sweet, and we're harmless, and we should be happy that you're even talking to us. But sometimes, we've had a really, really bad day, and some scrawny little arsehole says the wrong thing at the wrong time, and suddenly we're not happy you're talking to us, and we're not sweet, and most of all, we are not harmless.
- Sky: [chatting up the new girl] Wow, you are so lost. I mean, where is your confidence in the face of complete ignorance? Issue is, you're over-committed. I mean, you're essentially running.
- Bloom Peters: Hmm.
- [continues on her way, doesn't pay him heed]
- Sky: And now I'm here, you can't possibly give me the satisfaction of turning around?
- Bloom Peters: I don't need help, but thanks.
- Sky: I don't remember offering it. Tell me some truth. You must be a fairy.
- Bloom Peters: I am a fairy. All right, that's just something I never thought I'd say.
- Sky: An odd thing, considering you're standing in a courtyard in a college full of fairies.
- Bloom Peters: We don't... have a lot of those where I'm from.
- Sky: And what realm are you from?
- Bloom Peters: California.
- Sky: Oh, you're not from the Otherworld?
- Bloom Peters: I'm not. And if you really want your mind blown, three months ago I didn't even know the Otherworld existed.
- Bloom Peters: There's a lot of people.
- Sky: What? You didn't have parties in California?
- [pronounces it with an accent]
- Bloom Peters: You remembered!
- Sky: Impressed?
- Sky: At the risk of 'mansplaining', it is dangerous out there. You probably shouldn't go alone.
- Bloom Peters: [smiling] Are you offering to escort me?
- Bloom Peters: My Mom was... covered in third degree burns... Because of me. Every day after that, I snuck out of the house, because I was afraid I'd hurt them again.
- Beatrix: Headmistress Dowling! I'm Beatrix, and I'm probably going to sound like an arsehole right now, but I'm literally your biggest fan. Probably shouldn't have said "arsehole" in front of the headmistress! Bollocks. Shit!
- Farah Dowling: On a winning streak, I see.
- Beatrix: Sorry. For all of it.
- [shakes her head]
- Beatrix: It's just I've waited my whole life for this, to be here. I'm obsessed with this place, its history... Your history.
- Farah Dowling: Noted. Perhaps you'd like to study that history in the library? I have work to do.
- [closes door in Beatrix's face]
