The skinny caveman/ape broke his left leg at first. Later, when he's dragging the boar, it's the right leg that's broken.
Spear and Fang are repeatedly clawed by the large, red bats which leaves slash marks all over them. By the time they reach the grassy field, the slashes are gone.
