A formula relevant even today . Mohan and Radhika are good friends who keep hanging out together in parks and discotheques . they have no romantic inclination towards each other but are close confidants .
Both get married to different people . Mohan to Menaka and Radhika to Rajesh . In a short while they realise they can't adjust and file for divorce . The spouses are heart broken but are unable to stop this .
Mohan and Radhika start living together even when having no inclination towards each other . They are still friends .
Menaka starts going back to Mohan as his father has come to visit . Slowly they get close to each other and Radhika ( now pregnant ) realises her mistake and goes back to Rajesh. One of the early movies of all these actors , they went to become big stars .
Bell bottom pants, wavy hair etc., is all very nostalgic . We have seen it on our own fathers and uncles way back then.
