The soldiers have their gas masks on all times, while the main characters don't. No point in wearing a hot gas mask limiting one's field of vision when there is no risk of gas exposure.
When Jonathan drives away in the German's Jeep, the shot from under Jeep shows a desert plain without any vegetation nearby while the other shots show that he is driving through the outback surrounded with plenty of scrubs.
Before Hans is shot by Ella, he says "Ich habe keine Kugeln" mehr which means "I am out of bullets". However, Ella's response is "I am not" which is semantically not the response to what Hans said in German, but to the translation in the subtitle.
It is supposedly year 1985. Jonathan steals a Jeep from the Nazis/Russians. The Jeep is a YJ series Jeep Wrangler, which was first launched in 1986.
