I am still liking the irreverent humour. The fantasy worldbuilding is still odd with Captain Vimes mismatched investigative team.

Richard Dormer's performance is even more odder.

At least there is a genesis of a story by the second episode. Vimes learns that Carcer may not have died 20 years ago. Carcer also seems not to have aged.

There is a theft of a magical library book that is linked to a dragon being unleashed. That also seems to be related to Carcer.

There are inconsistencies as well. The rock being killed by a crossbow.

I love this show.

Having read all the books, this is a nice fun take on a fresh series. It's ok to update and change the characters some, even Pratchett was a fan of new takes on his work. I hope this show continues and grows.
