- As per the Father Knows Best" website, (www.fatherknowsbest.com) this is considered a "lost episode" since it hasn't aired in sindication since the 1980s. The beginning of the episode has Robert Young telling the television audience that tonight will be a different kind of show. Robert Young, usually "Jim Anderson", plays "Tate Ibsen" a cowboy and "Sarah Selby", Mr. Anderson's secretary, plays a teacher. They are the only cast members from the usual Father Knows Best cast. It is a flashback set in the old west. The story is about Tate Ibsen riding a stagecoach with four other passengers. When indians attack the coach, two male passengers are killed, but Robert Young manages to save the school teacher and the boy. Robert Young manages to survive after running out of bullets by tricking the last remaining indian.
