For everyone who expects something like haunting of hill house - it's different. The spooky elements are more explicit and there are less surprises (so far). What you see is what you get. It's scary af and even though i watched maaaaany horror movies as well as series, nothing compares to marianne.
It's fresh, new and terrifying! Worth a watch!!

Blood Sigil !

The sigil, that is on the wall of Madame Daugeron's house "painted" in blood and on various papers there is a sigil of Beleth,
one of the nine demon kings of Hell in Ars Goetia (The Lesser Key of Solomon).
It either lies about being Marianne or actually is Beleth.
In demonology, Beleth, also spelled Bilet, Bileth, is a king of Hell, who has eighty-five legions of demons under its command.
It rides a pale horse, and a variety of music is heard before him, according to most authors on demonology.
When appearing, it looks fierce in order to frighten the conjurer or to see if they are courageous.
The conjurer must be brave, and hazel wand in hand, must draw a triangle by striking towards the south, east, and upwards, then commanding Beleth into it by means of some conjurations.
The Dictionnaire Infernal states that to summon Beleth, the person should hold a silver ring on the middle finger of the left hand against their face, to pay respect to Beleth's rank as king.

L enquete reste interessante autour de Marianne et l aprés exo cisme. Il y a toujours des moments flippants et plutot bien realisés (meme si une des scenes d horreur est completement inspirée de l exorciste3,une copie conforme de la meme scene). Le conte que lit l enqueteur est intriguant et on apprend plus sur l histoire de Marianne. L episode est pas mal mais je sens que la serie peut mieux faire. A voir dans les prochains episodes.
