Reality house Zoo has hired former Reveille executive Charles Steenveld as company president.
Steenveld will oversee day-to-day operations and production on such shows as "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (with Mark Burnett Prods.), "Speeders" and "Busted."
Zoo was founded by its co-CEOs, Barry Poznick and John Stevens, and last year was acquired by All3Media.
"Ever since we were acquired, the mandate was to appoint a president that could help us grow while allowing me and John to still be hands-on on all of our shows," Poznick said. "Our mandate was to find someone who has business savvy and all of the connections."
Poznick said that his company's shows have largely mirrored the interests of himself and his partner over the years -- doing spring break programming while in their 20s, game shows in their 30s and now turning their attention to more family programming.
