I was enjoying it till I realised it wasn't true. If it hadn't been labeled a documentary I would have watched it and probably enjoyed it as an entertaining film. But it was like The Blair Witch Project. Once you see behind the mirror it's no longer as intriguing.
The actors did a great job, especially the host and Yancey who were pretty darn convincing. The ending was a bit cheesy and the acting in that final "interview" were somewhat overdone.
Dang I really wanted this to be a true story too. I pretty much woke up when I decided to google Kindred Township and found it didn't exist. Ah well, there's another 90 minutes I won't get back. For a better doco on an actual case I recommend Cropsey.
