Nine year old Max moves to Geroldseck Castle together with his mother who gets employed as a nurse in a senior residence. Apparently a crafty thief drives here his mischief. Max's mother is suspected of threatening to dismiss her. That's why Max, together with the three nursing home residents of Table No. 7, is doing everything in his power to convict the true perpetrator.—RSaVLSG

Young Max Bergmann (9) has mixed feelings about moving for his mother Marion's new job: it's to a cool location, former knightly seat Geroldseck Castle, but she's a nurse there at the seniors home that was turned into. Nice Max makes 'grandparent' friends, especially the trio that usually occupies table seven. They try to help Max dealing with kid bullies and the serious threat to adults: a crafty thief, who manages to get Marion blamed for his robberies, so they must set a trap but he's on to them too.—KGF Vissers
