Donald is feeling a little undermined, after discovering Caroline's pay slip, at a game of cards with friends, he implies that she got the job because of him, she plans to have words, he plans an exit strategy for her from Oasis.
Easily the best episode so far, I thought this one was great, a good amount of laughs, and Donald exposed for what he is, a bit of a snake, someone who's feeling very inferior due to his wife's talents.
I don't mean this to sound patronising in any way, shape or form, but If I didn't know any better, I would have thought it would have been written by a woman, as it is largely seen from Caroline's point of view.
Best bit, Caroline coming out after her meeting with Edgar, has he promoted her?
Good to see both Donald Pickering and Wanda Ventham, two incredible voices, both a little underused though.
