Shark's fear of dolphins is well documented.
Dolphins are vicious apex predators in competition for the same food source. They outnumber the solitary sharks, can easily outmanoeuvre them, and are highly intelligent. Orca (the largest species of dolphin) actually prey on Great Whites and take advantage of the biological oddity that means sharks lose consciousness when flipped onto their backs.
Dolphins also scare pufferfish to make them release their toxin, then play volleyball with them because pufferfish toxin is dolphin catnip (and absolutely fatal to humans!).

Sharks can "fly" up to 15 feet in the air. There are some claims that Mako sharks can reach almost 30 feet in the air at top speed. However this leaping (breaching) uses huge amounts of energy, so is not an efficient hunting technique, making it relatively rare.
