The type of walk-in freezer Alex locks herself into has a safety door release on the inside to prevent anyone from freezing to death inside it.
At about 11:05 in, the plastic box full of salad is right in front of Mitchell, but at 11:08 the view changes and the salad has moved kitty-corner away from him.
At one point, around a 13 minute marker, Alex is approached by a cat, and starts to flee from the cat because, as she states, she's "Allergic to cats". She has been shown a few times in the series to be playing with cats. Some of these moments are her feeding ally cats in Dear Beloved Family (2018) and also when she dated Ben in Five Minutes (2017), as Alex is heating up a "Feline Barito" with the cat clearly visible in her small university dorm room.
