[7.5] Louise - the spraying magnet

Episode 3: Mixed feeling about the series and the episode. Truthfully speaking, what is enthralling and engaging are the very good acting, steady development and the tiny clarifying flashbacks.

What is not e & e are the kinda slow pace, unrealistic parallel relationships and a bit lack of "character" of the screenplay; like a bland salad sauce or a watery gravy almost without flavor.

David and Adele's last scene was secretly intense. Kudos to them, especially Adele who rules her character.

Also, one may admit that Louise is very desirable. Her stance, body and face languages are like scalding magnets "spraying" pheromones.

I am writing this in response to ivwxhgwq, who said that Adelle was better suited to David than Louise was. Let's see, Adelle is beyond rich, David was a farmer on her estate. Sounds like NOT RICH but middle-class Louise might have more in common with David.... Let's see, Louise is funny and David is funny and Adelle is dour. Um...again, Louise seems a better fit for David.

So why is Adelle a better choice? Because she is white and David is white and Louise is Black?

I don't know what's going to happen--David might be the bad guy, Adelle might be a victim, Louise might be an alien/ But I do know that on the face of it, Louise is a much more lively and interesting person than Adelle is.

Why?

Dislike the fact that Louise have such intimate relations with david when Adele is much such more better person for her, with the sleep terror , hope they get along

Louise is getting in deeper and deeper, she's getting ever closer to both David and Adele, but keeping both relationships hidden from the other.

I am just loving it, the quality of the first two episodes is definitely maintained, right now I'm wondering who's going to be the psycho, and just what's going on with the well. It's such a well made series, it's so intriguing.

I'm desperate to know what happened to Rob, and how Adele came to own his diary, I that the mystery that's yet to be unlocked.

You may disagree with this, but the way it's told, the flashbacks, it had a very 1990's vibe, and I love it. Excellent 9/10.

This episode had my heart racing with the suspense! I had planned to watch just this episode and then do something else, but I have to know what happens next! Going to watch Ep 4 immediately!

Por Trás de Seus Olhos (2021) Series 1st Season Episode Three - A Primeira Porta

Third episode and I definitely didn't get attached and I don't even care about any of the characters, for me they are all villains and if someone or all of them die at the end (or are already dead) I won't even care or feel bad.

I'm only watching because of the Badge and the fact that it only has six episodes, if I didn't have a badge I wouldn't have even started and the same thing applies if there were more than twenty episodes.

The protagonist trio is so boring to follow, that I'm more interested (not to say it's good) in the plot of the protagonist's addicted patient.

The worst thing is the mistress trying to justify why the relationship is bad and putting the blame on the wife and not on the husband who is cheating with himself, I have no patience for these types of people.

Episode three of the first season of the Miniseries Por Tras de seus Olhos watched on May 14, 2024.
