This is one of the special features on the DVD of Fahrenheit 451 from 1966, dealing mainly with the novel behind this film. It is an interview with author Ray Bradbury, intercut with plenty of telling clips from the movie. It's rather compelling, with the brilliant man giving marvelous insights into the creation of the original story. Few will be surprised that it began with personal harassment at the hands of authority figures; a police officer who found him suspicious, as he walked down the street, a mere pedestrian, harming no one. This grew into the original short that premiered in Playboy(!) and helped launch that magazine, and later on, he turned it into the full book. The themes of the tale are gone into, and the true, genuine love of literature that fuels the piece. Exchange of ideas, the freedom of the written word, the use of language and the non-conformity of delving into one of your own choosing. There is disturbing content in this, all in the footage from the picture itself(it will affect those who enjoy libraries, and that's the only hint I'll give). I recommend this to any fan of the man who is the subject of this. 8/10
