I liked it more than the Globes tbh
22 January 2020 | by 0w0See all my reviews

It had SIGNIFICANTLY less advertisements than the Globes and it spent much less time on needless gimics... it just showed the actors and the awards and that was it! And that's exactly what I want from an award show (I mean sure, maybe if they got a funny comedian like Ricky Gervais or Louis CK to host the show that would make it a bit better, but it was fine).

Many viewers would find the SAG awards to be boring or stale, but honestly, this is much more how awards shows in Britain are presented/edited and I much prefer this style to the more gimicy American editing style.

Anyway, it was good, no complaints really, except that it could have used a funny host (no, NOT Kevin Hart or Jimmy Kimmel or Seth MacFarlane... I said 'funny' not 'humorous')
