Pitbull's awful lyrics are impossible to slog through.

Warning: Spoilers
The title of this "movie" is "Pitbull: 3 to Tango" and you can read the name of the artist in there as well as the name of the song and I wrote movie in " because yes well if it exists on the imdb, it must be sort of a movie, but it is really one of these many, actually uncountable, music videos that were added in recent years. This premiered in early August and that means it is less than 3 months old at this point, so really new still. The director is David Rousseau and looking at his body of work he clearly is the go-to guy when it comes to directing Pitbull's music videos. Boy so many he worked on, actually I did not even know Pitbull released so many songs and music video and this goes way back to more than a decade ago. Anyway, this one here runs for 4 minutes and you can read in the title that the focus is on dancing, so choreography is key in here in terms of the dancers too. Well, the focus is only indirectly on dancing because clearly what pitbull is talking about metaphorically is a threesome with one male and two girls. But it is never too explicit. i wonder if this is a commerical success. Honestly, in terms of lyrics and music video, it does feel rather shallow I must say. But there are ups too. This now already manages to be stuck in my head, so it is fairly catchy and Pitbull's voice works well with the tune, for example when he sings something like "Lets get down to business". And not just the audio has something positive to it, also the video when i did not expect it: Namely the bald guy sitting on the chair watching the girls is not Pitbull himself, whcih would have been the easy way out, but it is John Travolta as we find out in the last minute and that did surprise me. A nice little connection to the dancing movies from early in his career as also see him briefly on the dance floor here. So yeah, overall taking both song and video into account, I give this one a thumbs-up. Definitely surprised me a bit because so far Pitbull never managed to win me over. Go check this one out, especially if you like Travolta.

Correction 17th November 2019: The tune is really catchy, has stayed in my ear since and the Travolta cameo is the coolest thing ever. The choreography is also pretty good (even if I liked for the girls to wear different outfits), works pretty fine together with the song, so I increase my rating from ***/***** to ****/*****.

What's not to like?!

Song: Good!

Dancing: Good!

Video: Good!

Travolta: Good!

This is a really catchy song, i've watched the video three times and each time i like it more and more! The travolta cameo was i think meant to be a little funny, i don't think he was trying to look seriously sexy. It was a throwback to his dancing movies which made him famous and the play on the fact he looks like an older version of pitbull. The song itself is one of those that if it came on in a club you wouldn't be able to resist either dancing or singing as it's so catchy. There is also so many beautiful girls - what's not to love!
