Really neat psychological twist to game!

I give this 8/10 in my opinion I think this game delivers a nice creepy feel throughout the entire game. It's not your usual jump scare here jump scare there, it gives chilling and scary moments other ways without having to put jump scares in almost every corner like most horror games. I've heard in other reviews that there are a lot of bugs and your game will crash. In my experience i have not seen a single bug or had not have one crash through the whole game. I've also been told that this game was short. I can assure you this game is not short! In fact it's quite lengthy but in a good way. All in all I would recommend this game to others. Especially if you enjoy the Blair witch movies and like creepy forest games! Hope this was helpful and I hope you enjoy!

Great game

Amazing story that explores Ellis's mindset and his inner conflict. Bullet is also more than just a dog, him and Ellis have a heart warming relationship that almost serves as a beacon of hope for whenever the Witch is trying to crawl into your head. The horror element is hit or miss = sometimes the game feels a bit dragged out and repetitive when it comes to this aspect, which is obviously a bummer, but that's not always the case, as most scares do work on both a technical and psychological level. Many people talk about the bugs, but I only experienced very few, and they did not break the overall experience, not even once. With all that being sad, this is a breath of fresh air for the horror game industry.

Final score = 8.5 - 8.8/10 = Great! Worth checking out!

A really scary game with a dirty secret twist and with a lot of fun will you keep you up all night. The Blair witch movies sucks but the game is pretty awesome.

YOU DON'T KILL THE DOG

The game is good, don't get me wrong. But there is ONE RULE, even if the ending is not canon, you always give an ending where the dog lives happily ever after. This game doesn't do that. It gives that dog a sad ending no matter what. For that, I give this game 1 star. Bullet is one of the most loyal dogs in any video game, and there is no happy ending for him. Even the "Good" ending, which is SUPER hard and impossible to get on your first go (since you need to literally forget any assumptions about video games collectibles and ignore in game instructions) gives bullet a sad ending. Bullet either curls up next to a dying Ellis, or looks at Ellis/(now)Carver sadly as he walks into the forest. The bad ending? Bullet leaves the dying Ellis or barks at him when he turns into Carver. The endings are crap. YOU ALWAYS GIVE THE DOG AT LEAST ONE HAPPY ENDING. Screw the main characters, the dog deserves a happy ending.

Fun but predictable

Yes it was alright. Very predictable and the end takes way too long to navigate because it's just a pointless and ongoing maze. But pretty fun. Takes a bit too much from slenderman toward the end but I didn't mind that.

How is this a horror game? Where are the jump scares? I thought it would be on a par with Outlast, but it was not scary one bit and the story was an utter dud.
