Storyline

Journey through the feverish and tortured world of an artist struggling to realize his visions onto a seemingly endless blank canvas. Finding no peace in his nightmarish dream state, nor his impotent creative reality, the artist must meld these two worlds into one cathartic expression. Through the presence of an unknown traveler, he may at last discover the elusive peace that he seeks. This intense short is both a musical fable and an experimental narrative, addressing the concept of creative frustration and the processes that an artist must embrace in order to see his visions realized. The underlying objective of Daniel Boneville's singular vision was to convey story with a minimal amount of dialog, allowing his core elements of imagery, original music, editing and sound design to express ideas and draw the audience into a surreal and troubled world.
