Don´t fall asleep of Freddy is coming for you.

Freddy returns from hell, It's power lies in the fact that sleep cannot be avoided, and the protagonist of the movie, travels to the foundry where evil Freddy lives. The boiler room is an especially unnerving set, complete with hissing pipes and dripping chains. Liked his new look, in my opinion this is a cool tribute, it has several scary moments, liked the creative way the director opted to put Freddy in the dark. Turning the moment he appears more raw and scary.

Freddy wants his power back

This movie is very different from all the previous sequels of a nightmare one elm street, Freddy isn't dead as he picks up his glove and takes up where he left off.

The only problem is that his powers are weak, he tries to do cat and mouse game with the girl, and it really worked here, using shadows and fear as an element trough the movie was very good, turning Freddy even more scarier.

Love this, and will buy the bluray once is out.

The burned man strikes again in Portugal.

Some high school kids start dreaming of a scary burned man with knives on his gloves. And soon he starts killing them in their dreams. Fred Krueger is an iconic villain. Greatly done by Robert Englund. Here we are introduced to a new Freddy, this one plays with this girl, for too long, i was waiting for blood, but it´s all scares, and jump sequences, no gore. I may not find this movie scary, but has a tribute to a once perfect slasher villain, i´ll give this a 7. Because we can see here that they´ve tried to come up with something new and fresh, has some good ideas but...it could have been a lot better.

The Necronomicon vs Freddy Krueger

Where do i start, not the worst, but not the best either, it really his a tribute to the franchise of nightmare on elm street, with some dream sequences, scary stuff and a new portuguese Freddy, with a few one liners, that pays homage to Englund´s Freddy.

Now the story takes us to a father that works in a museum and brings home, some lost pages of the necronomicon, so Freddy comes back to haunt his daughter so that she can manage to bring her friends, so that Freddy can kill them, and then be released once and for all, from the bounds of hell.

It´s got a cool soundtrack, and good special effects For me 8/10.

A brand new nightmare with freddy

I watched this movie, and liked most of it, it´s a cool short movie, with some great ideias (the addition of the pages of the necronomicon) was an homage to the evil dead saga, liked the way he is now, and the sets in the foundry.

Eva Ribeiro and Rui Constantino who also directs the movie did a great job at this. The scene i liked most was when he is on the bed with the girl and then wakes her up with his claws, so good.

An okay tribute

Freddy is portuguese, and this time he wants to escape hell really fast, so he lures a girl into the foundry, and asks for more souls.

Overall, not that bad but could have been much better.

The direction from Rui Constantino is great, with effective and dark atmosphere giving the film a sense of dread and energy. Great direction. The score is creepy and scary and fits with the film's dark tone. The special effects are good for a low budget movie like this.

Making this short film a must buy for every Freddy fan just like me.

Freddy lurks in the shadows

The movie has an interesting storyline that focuses on Eva Ribeiro as the girl who has to fight against Fred Krueger, as he makes his return to our reality some interesting camera angles used and the usual creepy music found in an Elm Street movie like the jump rope children singing.

Most of the movie relies on making Freddy scary again, the director hides him in the shadows of darkness. Loved the scenes of the pages of the necronimicon, nice touche there. The soundtrack is perfect, take advantage of the 80´s style.

I recommend watching this if your a Freddy fan,

Dreams sometimes are real

Dont´worry it´s just a dream, yeah sure, and the Freddy arrives from hell, and the killing starts again... That is how i was thinking but no, these guys did their homework and delivered us, a good short by keeping Freddy in the dark and more menacing than ever before, love this a lot, will recomended it to my friends.

A good sequel short movie

The script is thrilling and creepy, fulled of a dark atmosphere and great surrealistic scenes, Without his powers he can´t kill only play with his victim, i really liked that, the way he goes up the stairs and then vanishes, even in a dream if he had his powers on full, he would have killer her, but then again, he needs her.

if you enjoy the franchise, then it's certainly worth a watch.

Creepy Freddy returns

Like this short movie a lot, a real perverse and creepy Freddy, loved the new look. And the girl does an good performance. The short relies more on suspense and scares, but it´s not a bad thing, really loved Freddy as he stood in the shadows making him, more scary than ever. The dreams sequences were cool, he doesn´t have the full power yet, so he tries to scare the girl, so that she, can lure more friends so he can keep their souls, and be released once again, upon the world.

Freddy is back and more menacing

Without giving away too much, let´s just say that Freddy is very smart on this short he tries to lure more children, with the help of a girl, so he can get more souls, in order to escape hell. I think that if the cast was larger and more gorier, this would´ve become a classic, as it it, i only give it a 7. Because they tried something new, Freddy knows that he needs his power back, even in the girl´s dreams about him, he can´t hurt her, he vanishes like a ghost, it´s like he scares her a lot, we can see that the girl is really frightened by him. It looks to real to me. Loved the new look, and the tone of the movie, looked more serious.
