Little domestic problems.
Sleepin_Dragon28 April 2020
Ben and Susan offer help you a couple who's marriage is on the lines, and end up facing a few problems. Alfie tries to make it as an online star.

I wouldn't say it's the funniest episode of the series, but it's still good, and does have some funny scenes, the scene of Ben and Susan stickering up their possessions is very funny. The glimmer of greed comes to the surface.

Alfie is very funny, his stage fright is a really good moment. I also enjoyed Janey's put down of the parent at the interviews.

Good fun, 7/10.

Alfie steals the show
studioAT21 March 2020
Despite a script from the usually reliable Paul Minett and Brian Leveson this episode didn't do much for me on first viewing, or when watching S7 of 'My Family' again.

It's just not that fun seeing Ben and Susan not working together, and there's a lot of that in this episode.

If anything the B plot involving Alfie and Michael is the better one. Much like when Mike Berry replaced Trevor Bannister on 'Are You Being Served?' Rhodri Meilir was probably always doomed to be labelled a lesser replacement, but this is wrong. His character of Alfie is a massive scene stealer, and here he actually gets a proper storyline to show what he can do.

It's the best part of a so-so episode, that should've been so much better.
