Goofs

(at around 1h 30 mins) The van used by Cecilia to chase Tom should be damaged because of the crash but it was not.

(at around 1h 35 mins) When Cecilia runs out the hospital to the parking lot there's heavy rain and her clothes get soaking wet. Minutes later when she runs into James's house, her clothes are all dried up and her knees are clean, even she had been kneeling on the parking lot.

(at around 1h 50 mins) When Cecilia meets James on the stairs at Adrian's house, James' right drawstring of his hoodie is over his right shoulder. The next time it cuts to him, it is hanging down. The next time it cuts to him, it's again over his right shoulder.

(at around 1h 45 mins) When Adrian and Cecilia sit down to eat dinner, the slices of meat on Adrian's plate move between shots.

(at around 1h 35 mins) When Tom in the invisible suit goes to attack Sydney, she sprays him with pepper spray and runs down the narrow hallway. Moments later, she gets clothes lined by an invisible force. There is no way that Tom made it past her after falling over; which means it must've been Adrian.

However, if this is true, how did he find the suit after Cecilia hid it, he also wouldn't put the second suit back into the drawer that Cecilia put it in earlier in the film. Or was there a third suit made that was never revealed.

(at around 37 mins) Cecilia passes out at a job interview from a high dose of diazepam (Valium). But if she had that much drug in her system she likely wouldn't have been able to walk into that interview, at least not in a straight line.

(at around 26 mins) When the frying pan catches fire Sydney rushes in and uses a Carbon Dioxide extinguisher on the burning cooking oil. Using that type of high pressure extinguisher would blow the burning cooking oil all over the room, spreading the fire. A wet chemical extinguisher should be used on cooking oil fires.

(at around 1h) When Cecilia enters the 4WD Uber in the middle of the night, an Australian speed limit sign - black numbers in a red circle on a white rectangle - is visible in the background on the left hand side of the road.

(at around 26 mins) James, being a cop and portrayed as a responsible parent, should have multiple, functioning smoke detectors in his house. Surprisingly, not one alarm goes off during the kitchen fire scene.

(at around 1h 35 mins) When Cecilia shoots Tom in the suit it very reasonably starts glitching, since bullets would cause damage to the mechanism as well as his body. However, when Tom falls down and dies the entire suit stops working. There is no clear reason it would stop then; technology is not based on or powered by life so it should have remained partially working just as it was just before this.

(at around 56 mins) There should have been much more paint on the floor and for longer, not mentioning the absence of foot print or impact at the bottom of the ladder.

(at around 1h 13 mins) The needle used in the injection scene is obviously retracting as it is not puncturing the skin and would reach the middle of the elbow if indeed push this much at 45 degrees.

Very obvious rope works (characters smoothly being dragged on the floor by their foot near the floor or by a half bent leg).

(at around 31 mins) When Cecilia saw a front door open part of the way at night, it was from open from right and had hinges on the left. She walked out. But, when she was outside of the house, that same door now opened on the right and had hinges on the left.

(at around 25 mins) Even if Adrian, in invisible form, had not turned the heat up on the kitchen stove, causing a fire in the frying pan, the kitchen in James' house is still dangerous. Notice there is a roll of paper towels right above the stove, and right above where someone would be cooking.

(at around 47 mins) When the Invisible Adrian slaps Sydney (making Cecilia look guilty), the sound of a bare hand slap is heard. But Adrian was wearing gloves as part of his suit, so the sound would have been duller and blunt.

(at around 19 mins) When the two sisters visit the brother lawyer at his office, the view out of the window is the Sydney (Australia) skyline, however the B-roll scene before they enter the lawyer's office is footage of San Francisco.

(at around 1h 1 min) When Cecilia takes a Lyft to Stinson Beach, the SUV is shown driving south on the Golden Gate Bridge. Stinson Beach is actually north of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County.

James should not be assigned to investigate the case.

(at around 59 mins) The suit should not make The Invisible Man so strong as to lift a grown woman in the air without much effort.

There is no explanation as to why Cecilia never requested to see a death certificate and coroner's report to verify that Adrian was truly dead after the mysterious incidents began to occur.

(at around 1h 14 mins) The patient should be monitored and not left alone right after an intravenous injection sedating her as she could stop breathing and die.

(at around 12 mins) Cecilia goes to the mailbox to check the mail. The flag on the mailbox is up. That's a signal to the carrier there is outgoing mail. If the flag is up the carrier hasn't been there, so there's no need to check for new mail.

(at around 1h 13 mins) The injection by the "doctor" is very badly rendered: for example, he does not check if there is some blood flow by aspirating before injecting the drug.

(at around 25 mins) She's cooking sunny side up eggs and bacon in a frying pan yet but it's slicing mushrooms to put in with it. If she was making an omelet or scrambled eggs it would make more sense. Think it was done just till the knife would disappear.
