Colombia, founded by the Spaniards in the 1500s. For 120 years, the victim of much bloodshed until freed from the Spanish reign of terror in 1812 by Simón Bolívar. A visit to its floating markets, ancient cities and colorful harbors.

Documentary short film depicting the life, geography, and historical aspects of the nation of Colombia, focusing on life in Barranquilla. Marketplaces, fortifications, and shipping facilities are shown, and a brief précis of the derivation of the population is given.
