Goofs

(at around 1h 30 mins) Granger leaves his friend's wedding for the airport holding a rectangular shape suitcase. Once he arrives at the Indian airport, his suitcase becomes smaller and squarer.

First scene where Granger is driving to drop Priya off to meet her parents, they are seen passing in a gray Mercedes C Class. Or even when they come to the 4 way intersection still in a gray C class Mercedes. But when they arrive at the party location they are in a silver E Class Mercedes.

Near the beginning of the movie Pria mentions she is 22. Later her father tells the hotel clerk she is 23. The movie takes place over the course of less than a week and there was nothing mentioned about her birthday taking place.

When Rajeev grabs his chest, son Govinda helps him into a chair with arms around his chest, but when the scene cuts to a different camera, Govinda is several feet away from him. Wife Manju holds a coat during this, which then completely disappears in the same camera cut.

It is shown in the movie that Priya suddenly decides to take off for USA and the very next day she's in the US. The same happens with Granger, as he suddenly walks out of his friend's wedding and takes off for India. Both scenarios are impossible as it takes quiet a long time (weeks) for Indians to get a US tourist visa approved after a long process and for American visitors to get an Indian Visa approved. None of the two countries have got "visa-on-arrival" or "visa free entry" treaties for citizens of their counterpart country.

Granger comes to India hunting for Priya at "CityOne Bank Headquarters." Normally all the foreign companies use third party Indian companies to house their call centers. The local people identify these companies by the name of the Indian Business entity, not the client company; hence, no Indian locals would known where the "CityOne Bank Headquarter" would be when Granger asks for directions to Priya's workplace.

When a credit card is confirmed stolen or missing, or the card information has been compromised and is being used for unauthorized purchases, that card is *immediately* deactivated by the bank/issuer, and a new card with a new account number is issued to the customer. In *no* instance would a credit card lost 'in the wild' still be active for use by the customer with ongoing discussions of, "Did you make this purchase or not?"

The time zones from New York to Mumbai are shown as 12 hours apart. Mumbai is +5.5 hours away from GMT and New York is -5, making the total 10.5 hours. At no time of the year are they 12 hours apart.

In the first scene, Kit Hawksin (Larry Miller) calls Jesse Metcalfe's character by the actors real name.

When Granger tells Priya over the phone that he's going to San Francisco, he's outside walking through a city, presumably New York. But he passes a street sign that says "Sacramento," giving away that the scene was filmed on Sacramento Street in San Francisco's Financial District.

With all the agitation over Priya flying by herself to America, her family never once considers calling her on her cell phone rather than flying halfway around the world to search for her.

Nearly the entire time, Priya wears a big honking ring on her ring finger, yet Granger never notices it. Only at the end of the movie, after learning she's engaged, does he check her right hand for the engagement ring.
